It is a great choice for excellent students from outside the EU/EEA who want to do a Master’s program at the University of Helsinki.
It is a fully-funded scholarship with tuition fees and a study grant of #10,000. The duration of the scholarship is two years and the Tuition fees range from 13 000 to 18 000 Euros.
2. University of Tampere Masters Scholarships for International Students
This scholarship is made available to students who are the most talented fee-paying students of the university.
There are two types of scholarships made available and they include:
- The University of Tampere tuition fee scholarships that’s cover either 100% or 50% of the tuition fees in a two-year Master’s degree programme.
- The University of Tampere global student award for academic excellence scholarships that cover 100% of the tuition fees and include a 7,000 € annual scholarship to cover the student’s living expenses during the two-year Master’s degree programme.

3. University of Oulu Masters Scholarships for International Students

It is a partially funded scholarship as the tuition fee does not cover the living costs such as accommodation, meals, and transportation. All students are required to finance their living costs by themselves.

4. Aalto University Scholarships in Finland for International Students
This scholarship is offered to students who is recognised as talented non-EU/EEA students.
Aalto University scholarships are merit-based and are granted on a competitive basis. The number of scholarships per degree programme is limited and depends on the overall number of selected non-EU/EEA students per degree programme.
The scholarship is given as a part of the admission process and o my students who pay tuition fees are eligible to all for this scholarship.
The duration of the school is three (3) years of full-time study for a bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of full-time study for a master’s degree.
5. Finland Government Scholarships for International Student
The Finland Government scholarships for international students are based mainly on cultural agreements or similar arrangements between Finland and the following countries: Australia, China, Cuba, Egypt, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Mongolia, Namibia, Peru, Republic of Korea, Turkey, Ukraine, and The USA.
The scholarship is open to all researchers in all fields of study. To be eligible, the candidate must first successfully apply for a study/research placement at a Finnish university/public research institute.
The scholarship is partially funded with am allows of £15,000 that’s enough for just one person. Travel expenses, as well as accommodation, are not covered by the scholarship.
